Severance

Two broken ends of one ribbon lie apart horizontally, separated by a gap wider than the ribbon.

Severance marks a break in continuity, where an old connection no longer carries you forward. Give the change its proper weight before deciding what, if anything, comes next.

What this insight invites

A break may be chosen, imposed, or only partly understood. Severance leaves room for disruption without insisting that every ending is secretly a welcome new beginning.

Distance can create room, yet a sudden change may also remove familiar support. If a routine or arrangement has ended, identify one practical need that remains before planning a complete reinvention.

A question to sit with

What support do you need while a familiar connection is no longer available?

Try this

After one recent change, list a remaining practical need and one reachable way to address it.
